I also replaced the carbide spikes w/ss bolts. I'm around 200lb w/o gear and I jump around the rocks pretty hard. I was replacing 3-4 rounded spikes/shoe a trip. Not the end of the world, but it gets old after a while.

I suggest taking a hack saw and cut out a slot right in the middle of the korkers, so your boots can flex more..
your going to feel like frankinstien with those korkers mounted to your shoes..
Why not buy Korker's wading shoes with the interchangable soles??
