I'd have a hard time going to a 2pc (although that AllStar is nice
) let alone something that is telescopic. I just don't see how you could keep the sensitivity, power transfer, and strength of a 1 pc rod into one of many sections.... A friend of mine has a rod he got from cabellas that expands from about 7' to 8'. He likes it and fishes it often but it's certainly for light stuff, less than 1.5 oz...
