This morning, Clamdigger goes into the hospital (probably already there) for scheduled surgery. I won't go into details, but it can be severe. Fortunately it was caught pretty early. The chances for recovery are very good. But he won't be fishing or clamming for a little while.
Some of the time, Mike would probably joke that it was the second half of the lobotomy being completed, and at other times he'll be real serious and add "Remember, ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!". That's his motto these days, at least for the past year and a half I've known him so far - it seems longer
. Enjoy what you have....
