Nothing like the sensation you get out of braid. Havnt got around to trying other braids yet so I cant really coment other than PowerPro. 30# on my 7', just went to 50# on the 8,9 and 10.5'. All spinning set ups. Occasional knots just like anything else but they almost always seem easy to repair. Seem to be mostly caused by the fisherman (me
