I just started using power pro this year. I have 30# on my spinner.
My first impressions after only a few trips are this:
love the sensitivity of it, you really feel everything.
aside from a couple of small wind knots, the only real problem I have with it is that when I was running teasers (in front of the plug), the mono teaser leader would twist itself around the main braid line. Kind of annoying, even when I shortened the teaser leader up, it still twisted, but not as bad.
I have a reel with mono for the rocks, I've heard too many bad things about braid and rocks.
Some great advice that I have used is to lighten up on the drag and manually flip the bail after a cast and make sure the line is seated properly on the spool and roller before starting the retrieve.
oh yeah and I can cast a freakin' mile with the stuff.
