They never bother me and the RI surfers favor spots I fish frequently . Waves = good surfcasting. I am usually packing it in when they show up at daylight. I respect them for their dedication. People think I am nuts for what I do for a fish but at least I am not swimming in the icy cold water. i see them out there in April all the way through December
