Hey Jim,
I was using a Shimano Calcutta 7000 te, the only one that comes w/left hand retrieve. I have caught a ton of fish on that lucky Abu, I have it on a 8ft med action St.Croix.

If you want to go fishing, send me an email. I have the boat in a slip in Wickford and my spot is only 2 miles away. I do early am weekday trips 4-7am or evening runs as well. Same on the weekend.
