WASHINGTON - Senior U.S. intelligence officials said Thursday they have no evidence that Iraq produced chemical weapons after the 1991 Gulf War, despite recent reports from media outlets and Republican lawmakers.

A senior Defense Department official, however, made the following clarifications:
• These findings do not reflect a WMD capacity that was built up after 1991.
• These are not the WMDs this country and the rest of the world believed Iraq had.
• These are not the WMDs for which this country went to war.
It's a non-story Skippy

They only put this out so people like yourself you start running around telling all your friends Bush's Iraq policy has been vindicated...

Don't you feel a little used?

And on a related note...Saddam's hunger strike appears to be over. In the end he only managed to skip a single lunch
