bunker?
I'm still thinking that a lot of the June bass we usually enjoy (especially Narragansett, B-tail, and Newport guys) are Upper Bay dropouts. And with all the bunker this year many bass are still VERY happy in the Upper Bay. I don't think water temp matters, if there's food, they're not leaving.
The past few years, fishing the Upper Bay in the boat, there has always been a very noticeable exit by the bass beginning in late May and June, but that didn't seem to really happen this year.
Maybe the next few weeks will improve if they finally eat all that bunker up there.
