The sides and back seem to be only slightly deeper (2-4 feet) as far as I can tell, but it was dark when I went and I didn't have my waders. Next time, I will bring my waders and see if there is any deeper water around. Maybe the back will slope gently and then drop quickly to the deeper water? Thanks for the input guys.
