Far to many surf fisherman have the need to be out "just a little more" if they only realized the fish they were leaving behind......When it gets to that point just do what I did, Buy a boat and you can scratch the itch to be just a bit farther anytime you want...... I spend maybe 4 nights in the surf now and 3 in the baot, I love it and its a blast..works out just right for me, when I am on them good from the beach I stay with that, a couple of bad nights and I crank up the boat.
