I spoke with the "senior angler" himself today. This morning ,on the beach , he caught a good number of " quality fish"

using the Jointed Sandeel . He was with some friends, and a whole lot of other guys were there too, watching him catch. They were curious as to what he had on and there was a little show and tell in the parking lot later.
The trick to being successful with this lure ,according to Tony , is to "tend the bottom", this means keeping constant contact with the bottom as you retrieve the lure.
