Nice list Sandman .

Yep, persistence, Slip's kept at it and now has become pretty stinkin' competent out on the water. Sure, he's picked up some from reading boards and books and he's also had some people take him under their wings - BUT - the key payoff was that he goes and goes and fishes and fishes, refines his technique and did I mention that he GOES fishing ?

Me - I feel as rusty as a bare mustad hook dropped in a tide pool. I've not been getting out with any regularity and have been too banged up to fish the better spots (not that I've been getting out much)...

Mrmacey - you have a new boat and years to enjoy it. If the history of the last few years repeats, pretty soon the Bay will errupt beyond anything in your wildest dreams. When the bass & blues follow the invasion of 'nut bunker, there is one massive blast from Providence to Beavertail. And the bigger gals will be just outside. Time & patience, you have both, you will hook up. Just remember that right now is the slower time of the year...
