If it is 14' it will be perfect. The thing looks mint. I fish 2 people all the time in mine. 12' is a little small but still workable for one. Right out in front of your house. I had a 9.9 Evinrude on my 14' for years and it was great. After I finally blew it up I went to a 15hp johnson and it is perfect. You can do a lot of fishing with a boat that size. I would go off shore 2 or 3 miles all the time weather permitting. Did scare myself a few times though.
