Patrick, my opinion wasn't to hurt you. Really just the opposite. I had a strong feeling that many wanted to reinstate you just to humiliate you again. I think the thing needs more time. Time would dull the edge of those who would hack you up and bring you to a place where you could better handle the pokes.
Why come back to crash and burn? Maybe you wouldn't but after the fact would be too late. And if you got booted a second time it would be for good. I'm not saying you haven't changed Patrick. But I don't know if you could handle the baiting.
