Good guy; I feel bad for his family.

Rob Rockcrawler and I were in that area one day, and two kids made their way over to us, and started fishing right between us -- grr, but they were kids...whatever. Their "Nana" was so far away, she had a limited view of them and was definitely out of earshot, intent on catching some scup. What's more important, a dinner, or live children? If one of those kids had pulled a digger and RRC went in after them (which he mentioned doing, and told me to keep an eye on them), while it would have been nice that he tried to save the kid, I'd be peeved as heck if he got hurt. "Nana" would have gotten a piece of my mind and a piece of my fist. People really need to ask themselves if areas like that are safe for their children, and if they decide to still go, should keep a VERY close eye on them so that no more people get hurt over there -- children or adults.

It's a shame that the man had to be a hero. RIP, dude.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
