After you cross the Sheepscot River (just after Red's Eats on the left, take a right and look for signs to Fort Edgecomb. Fish at the shore between the Fort and, I think its Barter's island. I had a great morning in there about 10 years ago, caught 8-20+ pounders at 10:00 A.M. they were on a large school of Pogies that passed directly in front of us and there is good moving water between the shore and the island...
