I see the names and weights posted on the leader board standings and yet I cannot bring myself to kill these fish. 30 pounds is not a big fish in my eyes. That's left over from when I killed many fish for market. Forty pounders are a rare commodity from shore. The demons in my head say hang em on the hook but I cannot do it.
I am a mess.

Yep - the way I look at it, if I'm going to keep a fish for the Tourney that will get properly used, OK. But not every stinkin' fish / opportunity available.
