my Grandmother J had an orchard in Morgantown, WVa. THe family would gather in the Fall and harvest for her. The cousins would be climbing the trees , eating apples until we got yelled at then we'd be eating rubarb. I saw my first football game at UWVa, a night game and they had a white football. My Aunt and Uncle taught there and the Stadiun was just down the street, University Avenue.
My Grandparents F lived in N. Truro across the street from the Cold Storage. We kids got to dig clams and visit the guys in the Plant. There was a tramway the boats unloaded and sent their catches to shore to be cleaned, packed and frozen, then the train (?!!) (The train is long gone and houses are now in the rail bed. )was loaded an away it went to the city. Grandpa was the engineer there and we'd walk over and pick out dinner. We'd pick blueberries for pies and breakfast cereal and beachplums for jelly. Their dirt driveway was oiled with used motor oil, our feet got as black as asphalt. Gawd, I miss those days..

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.
