I remember having smallmouth and feeding the thing bugs, flies, moths, worms, and it would grow. Who is to say that doesn't happen, after all, when there is money on the line, wouldn't the cost of keeping a striped bass alive and fed be worth it?

Now I don't do this. I've never been in a tourney/derby and don't ever plan to, but it is possible, isn't it?

i have heard rumors that was done years ago in the mv derby, the guy was caught and banned for life. i don't know if there is any truth in it or not.
