SNOT the moisture that gets it boys you don't WANT to suck out the moisture you wanna keep it wet til you get it to the tech. Seal it in a double zip lock. It's the minerals that kill it...as in when the water dries it leaves circuit traces where dey ain't sposed to beeeeeeee.

If it is indeed water damaged Link then you will probably buy a new one. Its virtually impossible to repair water damage anymore with the quad density boards they have these days the water gets inside the pc board and leaves the minerals everywhere. junko dood. Most of the stuff thru my shop that is h2o is replaced now. 15 years ago you could spend a few hours removeing each component, not anymore some parts are smaller than the period at the end of this sentence now adays.
