Steve....I require only one thing to make any fishing trip a success.....just one fish! No size requirement! Just 1 lousey, little fish.....that is why I go and what I enjoy! Catching fish! Sure I desire to put large fish on the beach.....but if I went out each time with that as my goal, I would not enjoy myself! Yesterday met all of my requirements and I had alot of fun! One of the most fun days I ever had was 2 years ago out on the Race by the lighthouse......it was late fall, a beautiful sun kissed, cool afternoon and I was alone on the beach hammering away at shoolies all day in the waves as they rolled in! I was throwing a Bernzy Surf Howdy I knocked off (credit to Bernzy
) I had 4-5 fish following the plug through the waves on each cast and you could see them in the wave as the sun provided perfect back lighting! It was one of the most beautiful and enjoyable days I have ever had! The 70 fish I caught and happily released alive sure made it fun!
