Pulled all the floor off, removed the foam and some more general cutting and chopping. Found one of the stringers is weak and cracked at the top. I think the P.O. drilled some lug screws for the seats straight into the top of the stringer and it broke over time. No big deal, an easy fix
This week I'll finish removing where the liner was epoxied onto the hull sides. It needs to be chipped where the joint meets and is coming off fairly clean. Also cleaning up the stringers where the bedding compound attached the stringers and floor. Finish cutting and removing the front "casting deck" area. I will be leaving the very forward section for now.
Of course when I decided I was gonna remove the cap, I checked underneath it, and its glassed to the hull sides One more piece to cut for removal. Then the boat will get a thorough sanding inside.
I got some tips for pulling the outdrive, maybe I can get it all out over the next week.
