If I don't catch anything, or if I want to supplement the days catch, sometimes I scoop up a bunch of periwinkles, and if the mussel beds are exposed, I'll also take a bunch of those to. Anyone else do that ? Got any good recipies ? (I go to the canal in the winter and collect a few meals too, especially at the "minus" tides.).
