I was on 30th floor @ 3 Times Square when it happened, very eerie. People on the streets in NYC in silence, crying, talking, shock, etc., but def. unified! Never forget to this day when I was on 45/5th Ave, when the 2nd tower just buckled. Only thought (besides did that just happen?) was of a few good buddies that were working in the Trade Center, thankfully and luckily all my friends got out. Some coworkers didn't. Candles and people on the street that night is a sight I know I'll never forget. I really can't describe it. Next day, rollerbladed down there to do something, anything - heavy military and authorized vehicles presence rolling down W. Side Highway, people cheering, waving flags, handing out food, water, anything. One sign in particular stands out, it read "YOU MADE US STRONGER." Yesterday, flowers, signs, banners, flags all over and around WTC. One word came to mind - Pride. I work @ NYSE now, heavy - and I mean heavy security presence there. I dont think people will ever forget, they just deal with in different ways....

ps: My buddy Edna (who sometimes posts up) was friends with Jeremy Glick (flight U-93) - he told me Jeremy was a wrestling champion and blackbelt, big guy who didn't F around and could hold his own - told me the terrorists didn't stand a chance, never mind the countless others on that flight - to me, those are heroes.....
