Talking Clam Cakes...

This CT googan had his first clam cakes yesterday at Aunt Carrie's in Narragansett en route to the West Wall (blah, another story, jetty piled with litter and big mounds of gull poop, water churned up real brown with the NE wind...bottom fishing guys were having a tough time too).

I was pleasantly surprised by these softball-sized fried doughballs with clam morsels, but I could only eat three of them at a time!

Was tempted to try Iggy's across the street, but the stomach said no way.

I heard AC's cakes were the best in South County, is this true?
