There are exceptions to every rule . . . If you and the "Scoutmaster" stipulate that he was at fault the insurance companies will deem him at fault and you can collect 100% of the damages from his carrier (or your carrier will subrogate whatever they pay to you) - including the deductible which you will not be responsible for nor will you be assessed points for purposes of SDIP (where the real money is at!).

Insurance companies are your friend . . . ya just gotta take some time to understand 'em is all . . .
