the intirior is maroon cloth.
it should pass inspection.
i drove it for a year. taken it to the end of the cape. to all the way to booth bay maine, without worry. but then again it's a 500 dollar car

would i put my daughter in it and send her off to college? probly not. but would make a fine daily driver to get back and forth to work.
