You got it right. Watching those blues rip through bait is quite a sight. On sunday with my son and flatts1 we also had blue action.
My son had a blast watching them tearing up bait and slap at the lure many times before the hookup. Then when he saw the fish would jump out of the water, he was screaming. (so was I actually)
They truely are very exciting to catch and they never stop fighting and thrashing, (like bass who sometimes give up too easy).
Pound for pound a much better fight. I had one on my fw rod with 12 lb. line and a long steel leader. what a battle!!

Tuesday they would keep missing the plugs and when it was close enough to the boat, I could see 3-4 fish following it. We saw hooked bass doing that too (unfortunate for them).

I can't wait to get out there again.
