Vintage Custom Built Browning Silaflex Rod

I bought this from a guy from Long Beach California. The length is 8'4" and it is one piece, no reel seat but I will include a Fuji plate seat. It is marked in handwritten script "Custom Built by Bob's Tackle" and "Browning Silaflex 12-25" I did find a tackle shop of that name in the Long Beach area listed on-line. It has 10 guides including the tip. Cork tape butt wrap. I'd guess it is from the 70s. The wraps are black under with orange and metallic red over... very well done. I showed this to Ron at Breachway B&T here in SoCo and he said back in the day using these guides on a blank with big backbone and a relatively soft tip was done for live bait and eels. Anyway... that's my story... nice vintage rod. Local pickup in RI. $115.http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...1&d=1161602338
