Wow. I saw the Gorilla Biscutts and Sick of It All there one day and walked down the street and went to a show at Coney Island High. That was a great day. I can't believe CB's is gone but I think it's golden age was long ago...even before I went there. The nyc punk and hardcore movements of the 80's and early 90's definately centered around that place. I heard it may need to move but didn't realize it was closing.
I remember when I first started college in Strong Island walking into shows there and looking over at the bar to see a row of guys sitting there that I had idolized growing up. Being there definately made you feel like your were a part of something.
