Sorry Katie, don't want to seem like a jack-ass but the complaining about the punishment being un-fair would be a moot point if you just get to school on time.
Trust me.....an employer isn't going to buy the "I missed the Bus" excuse when you get older and start working.
Just think....my kids have to deal with this kind of rationalization 365 day a year.
