If my kid misses the Bus I take him to school.

If he has to stay after school then me or my wife have to pick him up.

I don't run to a lawyer because my kid screwed up and its inconveniencing me. I tell my kid TO GET TO SCHOOL ON TIME so it doesn't happen again. Its HIS/HER responsibility to be to school on time. Not Mine, Not My Wife's, and Not the School's

Curious is 3 hours of detention the standard punishment for your 1st Tardy?
