You will still have the original 4 sides of the stock left, although smaller, if you use the square stock to locate your belly holes, eyes, and lips and such. I don't use that method but you can do it. I know it doesn't look like a lot of stock but does make a big difference and if you do all your stock at once it saves a lot of time in the long run.
