The scenarios are somewhat endless ...
1) We pull the boat up to a fishing spot, paddle in for more than 100 yards to ensure a quiet approach ... quietly set down an anchor and start to settle into the spot just as the tide starts to drop ... boat motors up to us and two googans say "catching anything?" with dopey smiles on ... my friend daniel barks back at them ... "we were until you came along" ...
2) I pull the boat into a cove on a cold and windy day, (not much action at the moment going on), to get out of the wind and try to warm up in the sun and eat lunch, two guys in another boat charge over because they think I am on fish ... only to realize they are big freakin dopes as I pull out my sandwich ...
3) Some guy runs his boat along the shoreline looking for breaking fish, only runs his boat within the casting area of the shoreline to kill the action for a good period of time ...
4) Some jack a** who continually and consecutively cuts me off on numerous shorelines that I am working with plugs, totally gets in my way as I am working down the coast - where's my gun ...
5) Some hack who sees me pull up to a reef that I am about to cast to, charges in at full throttle so close that I peg his hull with a jig to give him the warning shot ...
6) A small minded guide who cuts me off from breaking fish - I was there first -- so he can get his client onto them and puts them down ... fortunately his client realized he was a huge a**, and the only reason I did not jump into the guide's boat with my huge-a** buck knife ready for blood was because my 72-year old father would have been uncomfortable with me playing out the rules of the ocean ...
7) You take a buddy to a secret spot and continually find him there with others on consecutive casts ...
8) Jet skis ...
.... ooops, sorry, got carried away.
