I like my 6500CL maybe a tick or two more than the Mag Elite. Just a good feeling reel. And it does "feel" more rugged than the ME. Honestly though, I've switched back alot to the Calcutta again 8) and probably fished that more last fall then the other two combined...
But you can never have too many reels }>
