Probably not a bad time to pick up bowhunting.

You're probably going to be restricted re: lawful discharge of firearms, depending on where you live (note your state and local ordinances which govern protection of life and property). I've taken yotes with .22 LR, but it's not the ideal solution (I would prefer a larger varmint round like a .223).

If the yotes are fearless and within 25-30 yards, you have a good shot at them with a bow. Bows are quiet and deadly.

Yotes are one of the few critters you can legally hunt at night (and year-round) in most jurisdictions (when they are most active).

Check your town regs.
