I live next to a 2 acre field so it is going to happen. My cat is 16 now and not that interested in chasing mice too much but in his day he was a good one. Kind of like Sylvester now if you get my drift. We did get a young'n this spring and as soon as I had the damn thing spayed, $125, he up and ran away or got eaten by a coyote so it is back to traps. Anything that s%^$%t's where they eat is disgusting. Wood stove is a good idea. I usually throw them back into the field next door so their offspring can see what happens when you go next door. P.
