i learned that when i prepare to go fishing i always do much better. checking the wind speed, tide, and moon, all before i go out. it helped me locate way more fish.
also doing alot of recon along the beach at low tide, and marking on the beach whereever i saw holes, and cuts, then comming back and fishing them when they were covered. usually every little pothole held a fish, when they were in the area.
