Was gonna try fo a trophy on the Cape, but then I saw the weather report.
Was gonna hang with the fiance and do no fishing, but then I saw the weekly report on Onthewater.com and couldn't believe my eyes.
Said that stripers and blues are feeding at the other side of the Mystic River locks in Charlestown. Also said that Stripers up to 35 inches had migrated all the way up into the lower Mystic Lake in Arlington which is where I grew up! My parents have a home right on the lake, and a 17' Whaler tied to the dock. I don't like fishing in the rain, but there's no run involved here.
