If you liked the feel and action on the SW1088 but want to go a bit lighter, give the ceiling a poke with the SW1087. The 10'er (SW1207) is a real sweet blank for 1-2oz metal. I do not like these blanks for eeling though, too fast and stiff for me. I still use glass for my eeling rods. Hope this helps..Enjoy
