My grandfather had a cottage on town beach in Sandwitch and (before the hurricane of '38) a cottage on Gooseberry Island. I remember him taking me and my mum flounder fishing there (I was maybe 3-4 years old, 1957 ?). My mum and dad would go camping at Shawme-Crowell State Forest and go fishing when the tide was "right". A 1961 Rambler wagon and a 13 foot silver "Scotty" trailer. Dad and his bamboo pole..those were my "good old days" memories.
