Too far back to remember the actual first time, as I grew up with Western Long Island Sound a few houses away, a nice protected cove that had pretty much everything available and great for little kids to wander around the neighborhood fishing ... but I'd have to say it was my dad ... as I got older, later in elementary school and Junior High, friends of his took me under their wings ... and show'd me the ropes for fishing for stripers and blues ...
