I just go with the old fashioned pull test. I will make up a section of whatever I am interested in testing (knots, swivels, & material being used) and pull. One end has a scale, the other is attatched to a screw driver or nail... I think whichever line breaks first/last will reflect how it 's going to act when it's chaffed.


There are too many variables when it comes down to scraping line & getting any serious results.
