I'm strictly a plug and eels guy - for me it's been Berkley Big Game Inshore - I've been pretty happy with it, low memory and pretty abrasion resistant.

It's available in all sizes up to 20 # - I have it on all my reels from the 4500 SS, 5500 SS, 2 6500's and my 704.
