The vinyl decal craze has really taken over. Its fast, its cheap and looks pretty good. Thats what I have on my boat but I have to say there is nothing sweeter then to see a hand-painted gold leaf with detailing on a mahogony transom. I still recall watching as the artist painted it on my Dad's boat many years ago...a real work of art. Few people go thru the effort these days....its just too easy to stick on some vinyl.
