Both Duane and #^&#^&#^&#^&ie were amazing... I guess #^&#^&#^&#^&ie the "under-rated" one then... Duanes' a legend!
I mentioned that Clapton's "Just One Night" was a "top- 3" Live Guitar performance album of all time-- turns out I recalled three even better:
1) Jimi Hendrix Exp. "Live w/ Band of Gypsies"
2) Allmans "Live at the Fillmore East"
3) Jeff Beck "Live w/ the Jan Hammer Group"
None of these three are underated... except maybe as live performers? (IF all you've ever heard/ seen live of Jimi's was "The Star Spangled Banner" at Woodstock... "Band of Gypsies" 100+ times better musically!
