Smile First report on Cuttyhunk Trip

Hey everyone,

Yes, we’re back from Cuttyhunk.

No, we didn’t rack up a mess of cows.

Yes, we had so much fun my sides still hurt from laughing.

I’ll post details from the trip when I get a chance; right now I have a deadline on a certain video jacket design that has to go out.

Here are a few pictures that show what it was like on Friday. Conditions were much too nice for productive bass fishing…be careful of what you wish for…Saturday was another story…much to rough to even fish.

The sunset shots we’re taken just before I jumped in the water to film the area at night. It was crystal clear water that was almost barren – NO FISH! Not a good omen. Hope springs eternal and tomorrows storm would certainly drive fish into the beach…how windy could it get anyway? That’s another story, with another batch of pictures…some awesome video trying to fish in 60 mph winds.

Mike nailed this nice bass within 30 minutes of fishing late Friday morning.

We had no shortage of plugs thanks to the King…note the infamous Deer Strokenoff hat.

The clouds marched in as an ominous warning of what was to follow in just 5 hours.

Martha’s Vineyard and the Aquinnah Light (the light formerly known as Gay Head) made a beautiful backdrop for surfcasting at sunset.

It would be a cold night in Cuttyhunk. I dove this stretch of water and found very few fish present…they must have gone to Rhode Island
