Bob I launched at Childs last year, I was able to retrieve at mid to low tide, so I don't think tide is an issue. The only minus is the parking is a little walk back but not bad. The ride out is slow, but once you are out it is real quick to MV. There is also plenty of schoolie action, and fluking around Waquoit.
