Maybe. Maybe not. He's one guy building them mostly in his garage so they're just not going to be cheap. Machining, welding, anodizing, etc.
He's sold a lot of them priced as is, that's for sure.
Some people don't like the big piece of tupware that is the Thule solution, either.
